Motivational Monday...Every Child Needs A Champion!

Although this video of the late Rita Pierson's speech was created several years ago, the inspirational tone and motivational message always hits home for me as both an educator and a parent. In my years as a classroom teacher, her message was always at the forefront when working with the hundreds of students who walked into my classroom. As a parent, I continually hope that my children are gifted with teachers who also see the importance in this. At the end of the day, "Every kid needs a champion"....enjoy!
